Annual Washington Lobbying Blitz

The FiSCA government affairs program relies on teamwork and the participation of the association’s membership. Each year the Board of Directors holds its spring meeting in the Nation’s capital and includes a full day of visits with Members of Congress.

On June 22, 2005, Financial Service Centers of America had its Annual DC Blitz. FiSCA representatives met with Congressional Members and focused on the following four priorities:

  • Promoting National Savings Program

  • Passing Payroll Card Protection

  • Ending Bank Discontinuance

  • Supporting Code of Conduct for Military Payday Advances
