Phoenix, AZ – The Financial
Services Centers of America (FiSCA), celebrating its 20th anniversary
this year, is holding its 19th Annual National Conference &
Exposition at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix,
AZ. The theme for the conference is “FiSCA at 20: The industry
advocate. Changing perceptions and creating competitive
advantages.” Highlights of the three-day event, which will take
place from October 6 – 8, will include a keynote address by Dr.
Roland Fryer, Assistant Professor of Economics at Harvard University. In
addition, the conference will feature the 14th Annual Golf Tournament,
presentation of the distinguished Activa Awards to companies in
recognition for their outstanding community relations programs, and the
annual Scholarship Program awards, given to students from across the
country pursuing higher education. Every year, the conference attracts
representatives from across the financial services industry.
In addition to Dr. Fryer, the conference will feature
important addresses from other experts from the financial services
industry who will share their viewpoints on the current and future
competitive environment as well as their perspectives as to how it can
improve its overall perception in the marketplace. In addition to
the keynote addresses delivered at the general sessions, 25 workshops
will provide in-depth focus on a variety of issues of interest to FiSCA
members.
“The 19th Annual Conference & Exposition
provides a wonderful opportunity for representatives of the financial
service center industry from across the country to come together,
network, learn about the latest advances and, in general, improve their
overall ability to operate their businesses and serve their
customers,” said chairman Gary Dachis. “The conference has
proven to be a key event within the industry, helping owners, operators,
and employees better understand how it is evolving and how they can
optimize their own operation’s performance. At the same time, it
is an excellent opportunity for the entire financial services industry,
as well as regulators and others, to learn more about who we are and the
tremendous services we provide to millions of Americans.” Next
year’s conference is scheduled for October 17-20 and will take
place at the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
