The multi-line financial service center industry is facing a critical challenge in Congress where it is widely expected that attempts will be made to impose a usury cap on small dollar loans. FiSCA is concerned that this could be the first step in a larger effort to impose new restrictions on other financial services, such as check cashing, bill payments and money remittances.
