2008 Washington D.C. Blitz - FiSCA Board Members Met with
Washington Leaders

The 2008 FiSCA DC Blitz was held on May 14.  Members of FiSCA Board of Directors held more than 80 visits with Members of Congress and their staffs.

Among the key priorities discussed at these meetings were:

• Promoting FiSCA’s Consumer Empowerment Program
  
  
• Ending Bank Discontinuance
  
  
• Explaining the Need for Small Dollar, Short-Term Loans
